Yield was appointed recently as Cavendish Farms’ branding and advertising agency after a multi-agency competition. The assignment is for the From the Farm brand, first launched in 2007 as a natural style, skin-on frozen potato grown in PEI.
“Yield did some impressive due diligence for their pitch, quickly grasping the uniqueness of our product and the challenges we face in the market,” said Suzanne Milner, Senior Marketing Manager, Retail North America at Cavendish Farms. “This resulted in some very interesting strategic insights and creative solutions for our flagship brand, From the Farm.”
“There are some great creative opportunities with the From the Farm brand, because it has a truly distinct positioning for consumers,” said Yield Creative Director, Chris Torbay. “We love the simplicity of the brand – 100% PEI potatoes, with just a touch of sea salt and canola oil. It’s such a simple, compelling story.”
The scope of the assignment is expected to last for 18 months and could include development of traditional advertising, digital strategy and advertising, and in-store activation.
Yield’s other clients include Porsche, Deloitte, Alpha Exchange, Blair Franklin, Knightsbridge, Osler and Treasury Wine Estates.
